Our methodology is based on biological evaluation. We do not want to list large lists of all groups of organisms. Our ecologist has done a basic survey and identified relevant groups of organisms. We focus, for example, on birds or invasive plants. Because of the birds are important groups, we even having a new team member.
We select species and divide them into different groups: indicator species, keystone species and umbrella species and flag species.
We also do biotope mapping. We define them by species and natural factors: soil type, water conditions and disturbance. Biotopes help us to determine the ecological effect and gravel use zones. We will use the ecological effect for the conservation plan.
